Our very first congregation in “CSI EBENEZER MALAYALM CHURCH” was held on 13th October 1985 the service was addressed by Late Rev. T V Abraham.
“I was glad when they said, let us go to the house of Lord”- Psalm 122:1
Since then, with 33 years of legacy the church had a wonderful bunch of families gathered to worship and praise god’s blessing in Malayalam every Sunday at 09:00 AM. Gods words was proclaimed by Rev. T V Abraham for two Sundays till his departure from this world and the rest of the Sunday’s was led by Rev. L E Sahanam. Later Rev. L E Sahanam continued the worship service all Sunday’s occasionally with the help of our church member and beloved uncle Mr. P E Koshy.
“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded” – 2 Chronicles 15:7
Our First Committee Members of CSI EBENEZER CHURCH were Mr. David (Secretary) and Mr. Thomas Mathew (Treasurer). We started our journey and was accepted as a congregation under the Urban Church Extension.

CSI EBENEZER MALAYAM CHURCH is just not about worship service, we gather because we want to embrace Christianity in every aspect. We as a congregation have lend our hands to support our community Christians and Non-Christians in all possible ways. Our outreach programs have visits to Orphanages, Old age Homes, and Affliction centers. We collaborate, spend time with them, listen to their stories and speak the warmth of comfort.
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit Orphans and widow in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James 1:27
Today as we celebrate the legacy, we are proud to say we have been graciously blessed by Almighty and have a heart to share our blessing as a congregation in preaching word of god, serving others, building mindful citizens for the better tomorrow and strengthening families.
